Raz-Kids Online Reading program
In your child's backpack today will be the following items: Information letter and login card for Raz-Kids online reading program class picture letter informing about the Christmas market that is taking place this Saturday the 18th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. We will also be having another two popcorn days on the 28th and 29th where students will be able to buy a bag of kernels popcorn for a toonie and support the parent council fundraising efforts for our playground. Flavours will be dill pickle, buttersalt, caramel and cheddar and 100% of the proceeds will go towards the playground.
Remembrance Day Assembly Tomorrow
Just a reminder that we will be holding an assembly to recognize Remembrance Day tomorrow at 10:30. If your child is a Scout, Girl Guide, Beaver etc. they are asked to wear their uniforms and will be a part of the wreath ceremony. Parents are welcome to attend if they are free! Thanks Ms. C
Our Learning!
This week at school we started our new Math unit on Skip counting. As we wrap up our unit on Patterns, we will be focusing more on numbers to 100 and number sense. We have started to sing songs and recognize patterns on a hundreds chart.
